I'm interested in all things technology, but my goal is to be an expert in cyber security. In particular I'm focused on web penetration testing, network security and reverse engineering.
I graduated from Robert Gordon University with a first class honours degree in Cyber Security in 2022. My honours project won an award for best project in Networks or Security. After graduating I worked as a software engineer - The company I worked for during my placement asked me to come back. I currently work as DevSecOps / Pentester. For detailed CV please send me a message.
Apart from the university and work, I use sites like TryHackMe, OverTheWire or VulnHub to learn more about security.
The website began as a university project during my first year - a one-page portfolio. I've kept changing it afterwards multiple times. Currently, this is a fourth complete rewrite. The design, not the implementation, was always the biggest challenge.
Now it runs on MEAN stack (without Angular). The front end is mostly designed and created using Bootstrap and a bit of Jquery. But to avoid hosting it on a server I'm just taking static snapshots of the website and publishing it to GitHub. That way I don't need to worry about updating the website, paying for the server etc. You can read more about this website here
